I have been healed by Christian Science, and wish to express my gratitude. After suffering for about a year from extreme nervous, rheumatic, kidney, stomach, and heart troubles, I turned to Christian Science as a last resort. I had been treated by several of the leading physicians of this city, had taken various remedies, but received very little relief and no encouragement. In Christian Science I have found a system that is applicable to every human problem, and I consider it the greatest blessing that has ever come into our home. In a family of five it has been equal to every emergency. Our children have had some of the diseases said to be common among children, and have always been healed by Christian Science; laws of materia medica which condemned them to weeks of suffering were broken down, and they were healed in a very short time. Our oldest child, then about eight months old, was healed of summer complaint after medical treatment had failed. When a Christian Science practitioner was called she was unconscious, but in less than two hours she was laughing and playing, and has been in excellent health since.

We have used no medicine of any kind in the last three years, as we have found that even a slight understanding of God, as taught in Christian Science, enables us to meet and overcome every discord, be it sickness, sorrow, or financial worry, much better than in the old way of working. I feel that we have every reason to rejoice for this Science, and deem it a great privilege to belong to a Christian Science organization. To our beloved Leader we owe a great debt of love and gratitude. I rejoice, when I think of her untiring labor for humanity, that her consecrated labor has given us Christian Science, and I stand rebuked for every wrong and idle thought.
