Words fail to express my thankfulness to God, and to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for giving the healing knowledge of Christian Science to a waiting world. As we learn our way in Christian Science, live the truth of its teaching, and are ready to give up the pleasures of the material senses, willing to give up the old for the new and become as a little child, in that proportion do we consciously become heirs of God, and partake of the precious promise, "Son, ... all that I have is thine."

We have had many convincing demonstrations of Truth's power, one of which I will mention. Our youngest son was suddenly taken very ill. The trouble began with an enlargement in his throat, and the severe pain resulted in lockjaw. We declared the truth for him for some time, then he expressed the desire to have a Christian Science practitioner treat him; so we called on one for help, which was promptly received. In less than half an hour the boy was up and out of doors; all fear of the disease was gone, and he was healed. My daily prayer is to know more and more of the truth that makes free, and I am indeed thankful for the grand privilege afforded me of sending in this testimony.—Erdmuth A. Steeg, Enid, Okla.
