For three years, from 1899 to 1902, I suffered from a complication of diseases,—heart, stomach, catarrhal, and bowel trouble. I was attended by three eminent physicians, one of whom said my recovery depended entirely upon my diet. I followed directions, but continued to grow worse and was finally confined to my bed with no hope of recovery. As a last resort I decided to try Christian Science, and called in a practitioner. Within ten days I was about the house and able to do my housework.

Three years ago, while my son was working in a shingle mill, he cut his hand badly on a saw. He went to a physican and had the cut sewed up and dressed, after which he was treated in Christian Science. He suffered no pain whatever, and within three weeks his hand was entirely healed so that he could resume his work. I am thankful to divine Love not only for this demonstration through Christian Science, but also for many others which my family and myself have received.
