It has been almost three years since I began the study of Christian Science, and many are the blessings I have received, one being the healing of my little boy, who was very ill with a dreaded disease of the kidneys. When the attending physician gave us no hope of his recovery, a friend asked me to try Christian Science before giving him up entirely. It was not long, after I put him under Christian Science treatment, that all traces of his illness disappeared, and there has been no return of the disease. He is well, and a different boy since giving up medicine. Later on I found it necessary to consult a physician about a growth in his throat which had troubled him for five years. The physician told me that an operation was the only hope, but having seen other diseases overcome by Christian Science I decided to try it in this case. I took the boy to a practitioner, and after twelve treatments I again took him to the physician, who was surprised to find that the growth was entirely gone.
I am indeed thankful to God, and I also wish to express my gratitude to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the benefit which Christian Science has been to me.
Mrs. H. S. Hamblet, East San Jose, Cal.
