I began the study of Christian Science five years ago,...
I began the study of Christian Science five years ago, when I was quickly healed of serious troubles of long standing. The physical healing has meant a great deal to me, but the help in my work, and the change in my views of life in general, have meant much more. It is a wonderful thing to know that man is a reflection of good only, and that no seeming evil can in any way mar that reflection. My progress has been slow, but I have never wished to turn back—there is nothing in the old belief to attract me. I have had many splendid proofs that good always overcomes evil, when applied in the right way; and Mrs. Eddy has surely shown us that way. The demonstration at the birth of my little boy, a year ago, was wonderful to me. I was perfectly able to care for myself and child, had it been necessary, and I was up and around the house after the first day. All this was so different from my experience seven years before that it seemed almost impossible I could have gone through it so easily. To say that I am grateful for my understanding of this truth, and for the privilege of teaching it to my two children, seems to express but little. I hope to make my life show my gratitude, and I know this is what God requires of us.
Mrs. S. W. Wyman, Richland, N. Y.
