TRUTH'S EVER-PRESENCE

O Love divine! reveal Thy presence now,
That in Thy glorious fulness all may see
That sin, disease, and even death must bow
Before Thy more than might, and majesty.

Knowing that God is Love, and God is All,
Why give attentive heed to error's voice?
Why longer yield to mortal mind's enthrall,
But claim man's lawful birthright and rejoice?

O stately Science, grandly marching on
In spite of sneer and fear and honest doubt,
From one small seed in human weakness sown
How grand the truth that puts all foes to rout!

O healing truth, how sweet it is to know
That now, as once and always, Thou art here!
The leaven hidden centuries ago
Is leavening all thought—Thy kingdom doth appear.
