Words fail me when I try to tell what Christian Science has done and is still doing for me. It has been the only remedy for every ill in my family for about four years, and I have through its teachings been able to demonstrate that "God is a very present help in trouble," and that He is available under all circumstances. Last fall I was taken with chills and fever in an aggravated form, accompanied by other complications. I had Christian Science treatment, but my healing seemed slow and I found myself wondering why this attack did not yield as quickly as other ailments had done. I soon realized, however, that I must be patient and learn my lesson. The healing came, and with it a clearer understanding of the Bible and of our text-book, Science and Health, by Mrs. Eddy. I have also within the last few months been enabled through the teachings of Christian Science to rise above a great grief which otherwise would have crushed me. I am thankful to God, and to our Leader, for this healing truth, and my prayer is that I may rise each day into a higher sense of Life and Love.
