Believing that we should let our light shine according to...
Believing that we should let our light shine according to what we have received, and realizing that I have to a great extent been in darkness, although brought up in an orthodox church, where I was led to believe that Christian healing had been done only to establish the Church nineteen hundred years ago, and that it had then ceased, I desire to give my testimony. After suffering for almost a year with what three physicians pronounced severe stomach trouble and gall-stones, and receiving no permanent benefit from medicine, having fever and being in bed a great portion of the time, I began to read and study Christian Science, and had treatment for two weeks. I improved somewhat, but became discouraged and tried drugs again for three weeks. I, however, became worse, and my wife called in another practitioner, who gave me one treatment, and I have been perfectly well ever since, having no fever at all and doing my farm work every day. I have been attending the services at the Christian Science church and enjoy them every much. I am every thankful to our Leader for directing us to "the true Light," and I hope this statement may encourage some who are seeking a better knowledge of the way of Life.—Julius Hart, Ashland, Ore.
