It is with a very thankful heart that I give this testimony of my healing through Christian Science. I had been running down in health for some years, and the doctor said I had a growth, which caused other troubles. No pen could describe what I suffered physically and mentally. Although my husband's father is a physician, he gave me no hope of relief except through an operation. Finally, my mother, who had been helped through Christian Science, came to visit me, and persuaded me to try it. On her return she had a practitioner at her home treat me for a short time. She then wrote to me and enclosed the address of a practitioner here, and advised me to go to her, as it would be better for me to be under the care of one near at hand. She also kindly wrote a letter to this lady.

I was in a dreadful condition when I went to her for help, but the truth brought me relief very soon. I only took treatments for a short time at first, but the practitioner came to my home and talked with me, lending me her books until I got some of my own, and I soon began to understand and was able to help myself in many ways. I joined the Christian Science church last January, and although some of the ailments have seemed to hang on, I am thankful to say that my remedy is always at hand, and that Truth conquers every time.

For this great truth, which is such a blessing to me in so many ways in my household and in my every-day work, I am grateful indeed to Mrs. Eddy, for giving to us in such clear statements something that all can grasp and use in their daily life. Christian Science makes the Bible a more precious book than ever before.
