I want to tell of some of the healing that has been done...
I want to tell of some of the healing that has been done for me through Christian Science. The blessings have been many, but I will tell of one which seemed remarkable to me. While working in a box mill my hand got caught by a saw and was badly lacerated. I went direct to a Christian Science practitioner for help. She told me to go to a doctor and have the hand dressed, but that she did not wish me to have any of the fingers cut off. The first thing the doctor told me was that one of the fingers must come off, but I told him I wanted the fingers saved and asked him to dress it the best he could. He said he did not admire my judgment, and he added that I would come back in a short time and have the finger removed. It was in a bad condition, and the doctor said that if we should save the finger it would be stiff; but thanks to God and to Christian Science it was healed. The kind practitioner took me to her home and cared for me as she would one of her own, for I had no home. I never suffered any pain to speak of, and the finger is not stiff. I do all kinds of work with that hand. All that I am I owe to Christian Science. I hope that this may be a help to some one. God bless Mrs. Eddy and her faithful followers for the good they are doing.
