The many positive proofs of the truth of Christian Science which my husband and I have had during a period of about four years, make me feel it a joyful privilege to bear witness to its healing power. I was healed by the power of Truth of a disease for which I had two operations, but with only temporary relief; also of many chronic ailments too numerous to mention. I thank God for the physical healing with my whole heart, and also our dear Leader, whose faithfulness as God's messenger to this age has made this healing possible; but my gratitude is far deeper for the constant spiritual uplifting which I receive from the daily study of the Bible in connection with our text-book, Science and Health, which illuminates the Scriptures and is indeed the "key" to countless spiritual treasures. Again I thank God, and I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy for bringing us this truth.

I am indeed grateful to God, and to our Leader, for even a slight knowledge of the truth taught in Christian Science, the truth that not only enables us to heal disease but to better, more happy and contented. As a child I always had a fear of the dark, especially a dark room. This fear never left me until I gained a slight knowledge of Christian Science; then this Scripture came to me: "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?" and the specter was destroyed never to return. I was healed of eye trouble just by attending the meetings, when I had not gone even far enough into the subject to read Science and Health. The physician had told me that I would always have to wear glasses, as there was no help for my eyes. At the time of the healing I was doing some fine sewing and lost my glasses, but continued with the work and finished it. From that time until now, five years, I have had no use for glasses. I was also healed in one treatment of a severe eruption on my feet. These are only a few of the satisfying proofs I have had of the truth of Christian Science.—Adah K. C. Allen, Long Beach, Cal.
