It is with a heart filled with love and gratitude that I write of the help which Christian Science has been to me. About five years ago my oldest child, then only three months old, had an attack of lung trouble, and knowing what Christian Science can do, as I had had it at the time of his birth, we relied entirely upon this blessed truth, and he recovered speedily. About three years ago he was taken with a severe cold, followed by very alarming symptoms. To sense the way seemed dark, but a Christian Science practitioner stayed by his bed all night and in the morning he was able to be at the breakfast table with the family, perfectly healed. Our friends were simply amazed, but to us it was a marvelous demonstration of the truth of Christian Science, to which I testify with a grateful heart. For this and many other beautiful demonstrations in our little family we feel deeply grateful to God, also to Mrs. 'Eddy for what she has done and is doing for suffering humanity.
