Christian Science has been known to me since I was a child, and was always appealed to whenever I had an ailment. Three years ago my older child, then two years old, was attacked with a fever, and my husband, not understanding Christian Science, called in a doctor, who attended her until he finally left us, saying that time would restore her. The child was seemingly about to pass away, and there being no Christian Science practitioner here, I wrote to one for absent treatment. The child improved with the first treatment, and gained steadily. She had to learn to walk again, but is a strong, happy child to-day.

When my younger child was five months old she had an enlargement on her neck, extending out over the shoulder. We lived in the country, and I wrote to the same practitioner as before. The night before he received my letter my mother and I were up nearly all night caring for the child and trying to deny the error, but this was the only time that we had to do this. She did not seem to suffer any pain, at which every one marveled. The growth broke and returned to its nothingness.

Since this happened a practitioner has moved to this place, and she has helped me to realize the power of Truth more strongly than ever before, and has made some good demonstrations for me. I feel that I owe my life and health, as well as that of my children, to Christian Science, and my desire is to be able to make my own demonstrations in the truth and to know the allness of God. I am very grateful for the help received in these many years, and to Mrs. Eddy for her discovery of Christian Science.
