After a week of intense suffering for our baby, the doctor stated that an operation would be the only relief. Accordingly arrangements were made to have him taken to the hospital the following morning. That evening Christian Science was recommended to us. My reply was that the person making the suggestion did not realize that the child was very ill. A practitioner was called, however, and after one treatment the child slept all night. In the morning all indications of the trouble were gone. Since then the baby has been perfectly well, except once when attacked with a severe cough, which was overcome in two treatments. Mere words are inadequate with which to express our gratitude to God for the glorious work of Christian Science as revealed through Mrs. Eddy.
