I wish to add my gratitude for the many proofs of Truth's power which I have received since coming into Christian Science. And my last proof of the power of Mind to heal the sick makes me meeker and more grateful to God and our dear Leader, whose earnest work is showing so many the way to the Father, who is an ever-present help in trouble. One night I was taken very ill. I worked hard to realize man's birthright, but at nine the following morning I knew I must have help. I called a practitioner, who remained with me all day. I could but recall the old-time sick-room of confusion and worry to this occasion. The room was filled with the "peace of God, which passeth all understanding," and I was striving to lift myself above the sense testimony. The condition lasted until eleven that night when to mortal sense I seemingly could stand it no longer, and at the eleventh hour came perfect relief.
