AMONG THE CHURCHES

The corner-stone of First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Milwaukee, Wis., was laid Aug. 8 at 8 a.m. Those in attendance were the Readers, trustees, directors, and the members of the building committee. The service was simple, consisting of selections from the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, silent prayer, and the audible repetition of the Lord's Prayer, with its spiritual interpretation as given in the Christian Science text-book. The building is being erected on the corner of Prospect Avenue and Keene Street, one of the finest locations in the city, and will cost nearly one hundred thousand dollars. It is expected that it will be completed on or before Jan. 1, 1908.
