[Written for the Sentinel.]

THE ALLNESS OF GOOD

Good is omnipotent,
Evil but seems;
Love watcheth over all,
Fears are but dreams.

Error is nothingness,
Truth the sole life;
Into the peace of God
Enters no strife.

Life, Truth, and Love are one,
God, good, is all:
Leaning this staff upon,
I cannot fall.
