I avail myself of the opportunity to testify to the wonderful healing I received by accepting the truth taught in Christian Science. I therefore express my gratitude to God for the good that has come to me. I praise God for the truth that has made me free "from the law of sin and death." For the benefit of suffering humanity I will say that in 1905 I was afflicted with what doctors termed paralytic trouble, also a serious liver trouble. I suffered terrible pains for over ten months, although I tried every available material remedy; but all these were absolute failures. Every day I was getting worse, was greatly reduced, and had almost abandoned any hope of recovery, but I still prayed to God for final deliverance. I had faith as small as a grain of mustard seed, so I submitted my case to the great Physician, and I thank a kind Providence that I was led to try Christian Science and investigate its teachings. The Lord gave me strength to go to the Reading Room. I described my case to several who were present, and each of them testified to the healing power of Truth. Their testimoby did me good. I left the Reading Room feeling much better. I was inspired with hope, so I began to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." I was relieved from pain by reading the book, and finally went to a Christian Science practitioner in November, 1906. The result was, that after a month's treatment I was made every whit whole. Jesus once said, "All that are in the graves shall hear his voice," "and they that hear shall live." I praise God that I have been resurrected, as it were, out of a dead state or condition, and the true light now shineth,—immortal Truth is my guide. By the grace and power of God I shall ever continue to follow the bright and morning star. I am glad to testify that in my individual case "the stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner."
