"HOW ONE MAN FOUND RELIEF."

That all the testimonials to the efficacy of Christian Science are not given in our Wednesday evening meetings and in our own periodicals is proved by the following letter, which we copy from the Boston American of June 24. The letter, with an editorial foot-note, follows:—

Editor Boston American:—After reading your excellent advice to a young man contemplating suicide, I felt constrained to write you my own experience. I am forty-seven years old, and for twenty years was the victim of drink, tobacco, and melancholia. Although I was considered a man of unusual abilities and possessed two college degrees, I would frequently find myself without a cent or place to stay in some strange city as a consequence of my sprees. Then I would make a brace and get into comfortable circumstances, only to repeat the same wretched performance. I lost friends, positions, money, family, hope, and was always contemplating suicide.

I am now happy, prosperous, with lots of friends, and entirely free from the evil habits I mentioned. This condition has existed less than a year. My family is reunited. Cause? Christian Science. Your correspondent would, I know, find relief from the same source.
