I cannot let another year dawn before I send in my testimony as to the healing power of Christian Science. About five years ago I was struck in the face by a piece of wood, which resulted in a severe injury. I had the bone set, and it healed in little over a week, although a bright red spot remained on my nose. A year after the injury this spot became sore, and troubled me, off and on, for three years; when it developed rapidly, one side of the nose, the eye, and cheek being affected. I had been studying our text-book, and also had help; but the condition seemed to grow worse, until finally, through the perseverance and loving kindness of my teacher, I was brought to see the nothingness of disease and the allness of God. As soon as I gained this consciousness of Truth the healing began; and in three weeks I was entirely well. This seemed to me a wonderful demonstration of God's power—to see this dreaded disease yield, and simply fade away! Words cannot express my gratitude to God, and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who by her self-sacrifice has enabled her students to do such great work.

Although this physical healing seems the greatest thing, it is not nearly all that Christian Science has done for me. Through the reading of Science and Health I was healed of hay fever and nervous headaches; my financial condition has been greatly improved, also my domestic affairs are more harmonious, and in every way I have been helped. Surely God does "give us abundantly, above all that we ask or think." I wish to add that this healing took place a year and a half ago, and there has been no return of the trouble.—M.
