Seven years ago last May I passed through eight weeks...
Seven years ago last May I passed through eight weeks of severe sickness, resulting from stomach trouble. I had the very best surgical as well as medical doctors that could be had, but at the end of the eithth week they said everything had been done that they could do. A Christian Science practitioner was then called, and I was saved from death. I am willing to testify to this anywhere, for I know it is the truth. Previous to this illness I had stomach trouble for twenty years, and had been in a hospital for operations, thinking they would help me, but I gradually grew worse, until I was healed in Christian Science. I am glad to be able to say that I am now well and happy, as I have been since my healing in 1899. I have proved many times for myself and others that the truth heals both sin and sickness. I am very grateful for Christian Science, which teaches us how to work out our salvation from all evil.
