The answers of the ten Christian Scientists named as defendants in the proceedings commenced by the so-called "next friends" of Mrs. Eddy, were filed in court on the 17th inst. These answers were made under oath, except the answer of Mr. Kimball, who was absent and asks leave to file his oath at a later date. Mr. Frye's answer reads as follows:— STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE.
