I would like to add my signature to the long list of grateful people who have been healed by reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. Six years ago last spring a lady sent me a copy of The Christian Science Journal and one of the Sentinel, in which I took so much interest that I read them a second time. I then felt sure I could be healed as others had been, although I had used medicine, from the time I was fifteen years old till I was forty-five, with no lasting benefit. The doctors I had were very good and kind and did all they could for me. I had heart, stomach, and bowel trouble, etc.; indeed it seemed as if I had all the ills that could be placed upon any one, but they were all overcome by the truth. When I got a copy of Science and Health I could not hold it up to read, but it was not long before I was able to be up and about the house, and then I wanted to go to the Christian Science services. I am truly thankful to God for giving us our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has made the way so plain for us to be free. I am also grateful for the Quarterly, Journal, and Sentinel; they are so much help to me.
