I desire to express my gratitude for the many blessings...
I desire to express my gratitude for the many blessings which I have received through Christian Science. I had worn glasses for ten years and could not see to read or write without them; for three years there was a growth on one eyelid and an abscess on the other. I went to a physician, who told me the only thing he could do was to operate on the lids, but warned me that the operation would disfigure the eyelids and perhaps do no good. I went home very much discouraged, but in the course of a few weeks I went to another physician and had the operation performed. It proved unsuccessful, and my eye got worse instead of better. I then went to a Christian Science practitioner for help. After one treatment I took off my glasses, and in a few weeks the growth and the abscess were gone and my eyes perfectly healed. For this, and for many other benefits. I am most thankful to God. Words cannot express my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, for this wonderful truth.
