No religious teacher since the time of Jesus gives a higher tribute of spirituality to the life and teachings of the Master than does Mrs. Eddy. She accepts his commands as a whole, not considering herself authorized or permitted, as some others have done, to withhold "a part of the price." She considers that his words, "If ye love me, keep my commandments," mean the whole of his commandments, including, "Go ye into all the world," "Preach the gospel," "Heal the sick," and she has never taught anything less nor accepted anything less from her students. No church can show greater fruits of reformation from drunkenness, vice, and sin in all its hideous forms than does the Christian Science Church.
