IN LONDON, ENGLAND

[We are glad to publish the following letter from Mr. Frederick Dixon of London, as it gives an idea of the manner in which Hon. Clarence A. Buskirk of the Board of Lectureship was received in that city, also some information about the enlargement of First Church of Christ, Scientist.—Editor.]

Chelsea, S. W., London, England, Oct. 22, 1907. Dear Mr. McLellan:—The lectures are over, and have been an enormous success. The hall was crammed, people standing, people sitting on the stairs, numbers turned away. Every lecture seems to be a greater success than the one before it. In London this is a miracle.

Mr. Buskirk got a magnificent reception, and he certainly deserved it. I have never heard such cheering at a lecture. When it was over the reporters jumped up and reached up to the platform to shake hands with him and congratulate him.
