I wish to add my testimony to the many, but I have...

I wish to add my testimony to the many, but I have so much to tell and am so grateful for all Christian Science has done for me and mine, that I hardly know know where to begin or what to say. Twenty-one years ago Christian Science brought my husband back, as it were, from the grave, as he had been given up by the physicians of this city. He had serious heart trouble and the attacks were so severe and frequent that the doctors said he was liable to drop dead any moment. Since his healing he, with our family of six, have relied more and more on Christian Science for everything,—healing, protection, guidance, and support. Ten years ago I myself had an unusually severe attack of paralytic trouble. Although my healing is not yet complete. I surely can say I have proven the truth of our dear Leader's words in Science and Health, p. 254. that "when we wait patiently on God and seek Truth righteously, He directs our path." I have been led through the wilderness most wonderfully, and withal have been happy and blessed. I am able to do my daily duties and have also had strength enough given me to help many others on their journey from sense to Soul.

I am indeed grateful to God. to Christ Jesus. and to our Leader for the truth which so wonderfully helped me to recover my mentality sufficiently to do my own work. I gladly join with other Scientists in trying to realize the day when all shall know God and Christian Science, when heaven, harmony, will have come and God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. St. Paul says that God "will render to every man according to his deeds: to them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life." He also says, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live: yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God." I have the promise of eternal life and have received added years of comfort, happiness, and usefulness through Christian Science.
