I desire to express my sincere gratitude for Christian Science and the blessings I have received from its study and teachings. Failing to understand the Scriptures satisfactorily, after many years' seeking, I secured, some two years ago, a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." It has made the meaning of the Bible plain to my understanding, and it is my guide constantly, I was afflicted with heart and kidney trouble, also a hip ailment of many years' standing, but I am now able to say that these afflictions have left me. I had been a hard drinker and had taken a well-known cure: but now no desire for liquor ever comes to me. The spiritual and physical uplifting I have experienced leads me to joyful praise for Mrs. Eddy and Christian Science. I am seventy-five years old and am thankful to be able to add my voice in behalf of the truth.
