It is over two years since I turned to Christian Science for help, and it is indeed a pleasure to add my testimony to the long list, hoping it may be a help to some one, as other testimonies have been to me, I know that words cannot express the gratitude I feel to God and to Mrs. Eddy for this truth which has brought me out of darkness into the light. After suffering for years with stomach and bowel trouble, and receiving no permanent help from medicine, I felt that unless help came quickly my stay here would be short. I had known of others being healed through Christian Science, but I had doubts about a case like mine. I, however, decided to give Christian Science a trial, and a practitioner was called. She found me unable to walk, eat, or sleep, but after the first treatment she told me to eat whatever I wanted without fear, which I did, and had not the least discomfort. After a few treatments I was able to walk. I had other ailments, but I will not attempt to mention them all. Among them was spinal trouble, and it seemed slow to yield, but I clung to the truth I had already received, and in a short time this trouble also was overcome. Now I am strong and well, able to do my work for a family of five. Surely God is able to heal us, no matter how great seems the difficulty to be met. I trust my life shall prove my sincerity and gratitude.
