I first learned of Christian Science about two years ago, and at that time I was like a ship at sea without a rudder. I had no God; did not think there was one. I then heard Christian Science discussed and was handed a copy of the Sentinel read. The testimonies appealed to me as truth, so much so that I purchased a copy of Science and Health, and by reading it I was healed almost instantly of the habit of profanity. From that time every ill to which I was subjected has dropped away from me, such as headaches, nervousness, and catarrhal trouble of twenty-five years' standing, also other ills. To me the healing of sin has been best of all. Before coming into Christian Science I never thought of reading anything, and the Bible was a closed book. I now read the Bible and Science and Health all the time, when at home, and it is a great pleasure to me to attend church. When within reach of a service I do not think I have missed one in the two years that I have been in Science. I am very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for the great blessing I have received from her teachings. My constant prayer is for the spread of Christian Science.
