I wish to give a brief statement of at least part of what Christian Science has done for me. For about sixteen years I was never well. I suffered from a complication of ailments, among which were a weakness caused by a fall, stomach and bowel trouble, weak eyes, etc., I tried several physicians and remedies, used braces, and had two surgical operations. I had but very little hope of ever being any better, until a dear friend, who is a Christian Science practitioner, came to visit me. I knew nothing of Christian Science, and had no faith in it, but I asked my friend if she thought it could help me. She answered that it could, for God's power is not limited. She commenced treating me, and in three days I was relieved of the bowel trouble. In one week I gave up glasses, in two weeks I gave up the body brace, and in three weeks, I did not need further treatment. For over eighteen months my family and I have enjoyed health and happiness such as we had not known before. Trusting in God as the great Physician, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude to, the giver of all good. I am also very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for Science and Health, which is my daily companion and friend. Christian Science has brought the light of spiritual truth and harmony into our home.
