With feelings of deep gratitude I send this testimony of my healing in Christian Science. From early womanhood, and until Science came to my relief, I was troubled with indigestion, constipation, and sick-headaches. From these I had suffered greatly. A sister living in the West became interested in Christian Science, and was healed of a severe trouble through reading Science and Health. Two years later her daughter was healed of consumption, and this after the doctors had pronounced her case incurable. From time to time this sister would write me of her experiences, and of the wonderful truth of which she was surely gaining some knowledge. Some time after the healing of the daughter, my mother wrote this sister, asking her for treatment in Christian Science. In a very short time she was helped out of a serious physical difficulty from which she had suffered many years. Still later I, too, wrote and asked for treatment for the troubles mentioned. In a few months the ailment disappeared from which I had suffered most. The other troubles gave way gradually, until now I am free from them.

For the physical help received I am indeed thankful, but for the spiritual healing which came to me, and is still going on in my consciousness, I can find no words adequately to express my gratitude and joy. Self -righteousness, self-will, selfishness are among the evils which are being surely eradicated. In the light of these great changes, these genuine healings, can there be any wonder that I wish to express deep gratitude to God, and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for what she has given us in our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," in "Miscellaneous Writings," and her other works? Through the persistent study of the Bible and our text -book the spiritual law of creation is being unfolded to me, and through the understanding thus gained many errors have been destroyed, many victories won. Clouds have come, and there have been seeming failures, but constant endeavor to apply the truth, as taught in Christian Science, has brought back the sunshine, and great peace and joy have come into my life.
