Three years ago I was healed of what a number of physicians called valvular heart trouble. Never until then did I know what it was to feel as well, strong people do. When a child I wondered how other children could run and play so much more than I could. I was always sick, but until I was fourteen my parents never knew I had heart trouble. I was taken out of school at the age of fifteen. We then lived in Kansas City, Mo., where we tried a number of physicians. They all said that I must go South.

We came to Mexico, but I continued to grow worse. After living here four years, we went to New York on a visit; there the doctor gave very little hope of my ever outgrowing the illness. We returned to Mexico, but soon I was worse than ever before. I was, however, perfectly healed in Christian Science, in less than a month, and can now do anything without being fatigued. I have also gained fifty pounds. Those who have never been ill cannot know the happiness my health has brought me: but that is little compared with the joy of the spiritual understanding which I am gaining day by day.

No words can express my gratitude to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, for having been shown the way to eternal Truth.
