Three years ago I had a very severe attack of neuralgia of the face and head. After much suffering, and when I was unable to do any work, or scarcely able to speak, my sister telephoned to a practitioner for help. In less than an hour after the message was sent I was sitting up, the suffering entirely gone. This demonstration has been to me a beautiful and conclusive proof that harmony does not depend upon material conditions. I can go out of doors in the most inclement weather without any bad results.

When my little boy was a few weeks old he became violently sick. We did not know the nature of the trouble when we asked for help, but it was whooping-cough, and was overcome at once without any after-effects. When the same child was seven months old he began to have attacks of vomiting. In a short time he grew thin and pale, and required incessant care night and day. Many said we would not raise that child, but when I asked for help in Christian Science, he immediately began to improve. The treatment was all absent and there was a hard fight, but with increasing wonder and gratitude we saw every discordant condition disappear; baby was soon in perfect health, and much improved in disposition.

My gratitude for Christian Science increases daily, and my prayer is that my life may express true thankfulness to God, and to our Leader.
