I wish to express my gratitude for all the good that I have received through Christian Science. I had always been a delicate child, and really never left the hands of physicians. From earliest youth I had suffered from severe headache, which increased as years went on. All that human skill can afford was done. Almost every year I spent some months in the mountains, for the fresh air. I tried baths, massage, and electricity, and finally took treatment from a nerve-specialist. Some of those means relieved me temporarily, but none brought me healing from my worst enemy, sick-headache. This trouble steadily increased, so that sometimes I suffered three to four severe attacks in one week. At this time, when in despair. I heard for the first time of Christian Science, my sister having just then been healed of a severe stomach trouble. Although I knew this, I had absolutely no confidence in it. It seemed incredible that I could be healed by spiritual means after all material remedies had failed. Finally I decided to try Christian Science, feeling that I could then say that I had tried all possible means. With this thought I went to a practitioner, and soon I was so joyous that I was ashamed of my doubts. After the first few treatments I felt considerably better and stronger, and after having treatment for some time, I was entirely free from my tormentor.

Five years have passed since I took treatment, and in all this time I have not had the slightest attack of sick-head-ache. I am indeed grateful to God for my restored health, and also grateful to Mrs. Eddy, through whom this healing truth has again been revealed.
