For years I had been troubled with rheumatism and neuralgia. I had been treated by a great many different physicians, but without receiving permanent relief. Two years ago I had a very severe attack; one Sunday I had gotten very low and my left arm had become almost paralyzed; it was so cold and lifeless I could not raise it to my head, and it was thought I could not live until night. My husband had a little understanding of the truth; he gave me a treatment and I was healed instantly. I got up, and went out and helped my daughter get dinner. Through the reading of Science and Health I have been healed of constipation. I had worn glasses for seven years, and through my understanding of the truth I have left them off and can do anything without them. The spiritual uplifting is, however, more than all the rest. I realize more fully every day that God is "a very present help in trouble." I want to thank our Leader for bringing us this truth, whereby we are made free from the bondage of sin, sickness, and death.—Mrs. Lydia Gould, Findlay, O.
