Christian Science came to me in a time of need

Christian Science came to me in a time of need. It was tried as a healing remedy when everything else had failed,—materia medica, climate, hygiene, etc., everything that we ever heard of for asthma, but all had ceased to give even relief. The healing came slowly, but I could tell of many demonstrations of healing. For this one demonstration of the power of Truth I am more than grateful to God, and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy.

Miss Maud Traer, Toronto, Ont.

Go up and on! thy day well done,
Its morning promise well fulfilled;
Arise to triumphs yet unwon,
To holier tasks that God was willed.

Wherever wrong shall right deny,
Or suffering spirits urge their plea,
Be thine a voice to smite the lie,
A hand to set the captive free.
To Garrison:—J. G. Whittier.
