Upon the recommendation of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Corporation of Harvard University and the Board of Overseers have voted concurrently to adopt a new plan for the administration of the degree of Bachelor of Science and the higher degrees in applied science, and for the better organization of the scientific school.
In
view of the continued suffering of the race, and of the undoubted evidence which Jesus gave of the power of Christianity to destroy both sin and disease, one might well ask why Christian Science should not be admitted to be true and capable of fulfilling its promises, notwithstanding the incredulity it has encountered and the discredit which some have sought to place upon its healing and redemptive work.

progress of the work upon the extension of The Mother Church is such as to require larger payments to be made at this time than at any other since building operations were commenced, and in order that these payments may continue to be made promptly when due, the Treasurer of the Building Fund requests that branch churches, societies, associations, and individuals will largely increase their subscriptions and remit immediately.
