Upon the recommendation of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Corporation of Harvard University and the Board of Overseers have voted concurrently to adopt a new plan for the administration of the degree of Bachelor of Science and the higher degrees in applied science, and for the better organization of the scientific school.

view of the continued suffering of the race, and of the undoubted evidence which Jesus gave of the power of Christianity to destroy both sin and disease, one might well ask why Christian Science should not be admitted to be true and capable of fulfilling its promises, notwithstanding the incredulity it has encountered and the discredit which some have sought to place upon its healing and redemptive work.
In the Pacific Northwest the first systematically organized work of the Church of Christ, Scientist, began a little more than twelve years ago.

The
progress of the work upon the extension of The Mother Church is such as to require larger payments to be made at this time than at any other since building operations were commenced, and in order that these payments may continue to be made promptly when due, the Treasurer of the Building Fund requests that branch churches, societies, associations, and individuals will largely increase their subscriptions and remit immediately.

I am very thankful to God for what He has done for me.
About three years ago I was taken sick with what the doctors called typhoid fever, and from that time on I became a constant sufferer from different diseases,—chronic indigestion, cystitis, liver trouble, kidney trouble, varicocele, etc.
Soon after I commenced the study of Science and Health I was taken with rheumatism so badly that at times I could not walk across the floor without great pain, and at night I could hardly turn over, the pain seemed so intense.
When Christian Science was presented to me, I was suffering with a serious complication of diseases, such as lumbago, scatica, stomach trouble, and severe nervous trouble.
Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for the blessings I receive every day by the application of the truth as understood in Christian Science.
I would like to add my testimony to the harmony that comes to us through Christian Science.
Through many years of incessant pain and illness, the cry ever and anon rang out to God,—"Please help me.
Under widely varying conditions, physical as well as mental, Christian Science has been proved to me to be a panacea for all discords.
It is only two years since I came from darkness into the light of Christian Science, and to me the spiritual uplifting has been wonderful, to say nothing of the physical healing.

The new truth of the time is knocking at the door of all our minds, and nearly everywhere it is met with distrust.
