Eleven years ago I suffered an injury in my side from overstraining. I had an operation, which left me with a discharge and in constant pain for five years. The only relief which physicians offered was a surgical appliance to support the injured parts, but little relief came from this. In this condition I was asked by my wife to try Christian Science, which I decided to do. At the first treatment the pain all left me, but it was two weeks before I was able to be out. My healing was slow, and after I was almost healed an accident caused the same trouble on the other side, but through the help of a dear Scientist it was soon mastered. Christian Science has also healed me of many other ailments. I was a heavy user of tobacco, but this habit was overcome in Science.

To God I owe endless praise. I am indeed grateful to the giver of all good, and grateful to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy.—Edward Lindstadt, Burlington, Ia.
