Letters to our Leader

London,. Eng., August 12, 1905.

My Dear Teacher and Leader:—I only write you when I have something cheery to say. We had our first service in the available half of our new church last Sunday. We were compelled by law to vacate the old building (as the limit of our occupancy had been extended to the utmost), in order that it might be pulled down. We were grateful to have part of the new building far enough advanced so that chairs could be hired and we could hold our services there. The first half is paid for, and we are very thankful that, while doing this, our contributions to The Mother Church have increased.

I know that God is rewarding you, dear Leader, for your faithful, unselfish labors and devotion to His cause—and that God, who is Love, protects and guides you.
