It is now over four years since my attention was first called to Christian Science through the reading of a case of healing given in a daily paper which I had picked up while in a drug-store waiting for a doctor's prescription to be filled. As I was at the time suffering from a complication of ailments, the most serious of which was chronic neuralgia of many years' standing, and as I was receiving no benefit from materia medica, I at once determined to inquire about this healing truth, of which I then knew nothing. I was soon advised by a friend who had already been benefited by Christian Science, to call on a practitioner for help. I sought only physical help at this time, and I was healed; but I soon found that I must know more of this wonderful healing power which proved to me the unreality of those excruciating pains which had caused me many a sleepless night, and which once seemed so real. To-day, words cannot express my gratitude for the many blessings received through the teachings of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which enable us to overcome discord and error of every sort, and lead us to the only true Life, God.
I am deeply grateful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, for this glorious truth,—Emma Krueger, Oshkosh, Wis.
