It is now about eighteen months since I tried Christian Science. Like many more, I had tried material remedies, thinking that if they failed to cure me I must submit to God's will. When I first heard of Christian Science I laughed, and thought it very ridiculous. That was about three months before I decided to try it. I went to the meetings and tried hard to find fault with what I heard, but I was convinced that what was said must be true. I used to fear that my ailment (which was eczema) would break out again, and I was also afraid that I might have to leave my situation through it. My healing has been slow, but I would never give up now. I hope to go on gaining more understanding and overcoming all kinds of error. It is not only for the healing of my body that I feel so thankful, but for the clearer insight into spiritual things. The Bible, with Mrs. Eddy's wonderful book, Science and Health, has become a dearer book than before. They are my two greatest treasures, and I learn their value more every day. Christian Science is a very great blessing in many ways, and I only wish more people would accept its grand truth.
