I wish to express loving gratitude for Christian Science as revealed through Science and Health, and for our Leader's constant, watchful care that the light may so shine that those who have even the smallest glimmering of this glorious truth may, by strict obedience to her teachings, grow into the true understanding of God and man. The release from an incurable disease is much to me, but the release from the teachings of my childhood—of a wrathful, personal God, and of man doomed to eternal punishment—is more than words can express.

The day before our last Christian Science lecture was given here, these words from the Christian Science Hymnal kept coming to my thought,—
