It is eight years since I was healed in Christian Science of a very severe internal injury received during a runaway, but, like many others, I was not ready to give God thanks. Four years later my husband moved to Shawnee, Okla., where I found a Christian Science church and began to attend the services. I have had many, to me, beautiful demonstrations, and am daily proving the power of Love over all earthly ills. I have seen prejudice, hate, envy, worry, and the sense of lack, all give place to tolerance, loving-kindness, patience, and a precious sense of the Father's love and care for us. Among the many demonstrations I may mention the power of Truth over contagion, grip, ulcerated bowels, accidents, and also over a sense of discord among the boys in a large family. The birth of a little son was a perfectly natural one. I did my own work and cared for my babe from the fourth day. The child is now a picture of perfect health. Several slight ailments appeared, but they were soon destroyed by the power of Truth. It is my earnest desire to live each day nearer to divine Principle, thus proving my gratitude to our beloved Leader in the way that I believe would best please her, by overcoming the ills of sense by the law of Love. I also feel very grateful for our periodicals.
