Among the Churches

At our annual meeting held December 12, the reports of officers showed progress in all directions. The present membership numbers one hundred and four, and the attendance at our Sunday services and Wednesday evening meetings has greatly increased. Much interest is being manifested. In obedience to the new by-law, we have chosen new Readers. A liberal contribution has also been made to the Building Fund of the Mother Church. This church maintains a Sunday School and handsomely furnished reading rooms, centrally located. There has been a marked increase in the sale of literature in the past year.

We feel that the cause of Christian Science in Joplin is steadily advancing.—Mary J. Barger, Clerk.
