A Satisfied Witness
The (N. Y.) Sun
To the Editor.
I have read the communication in your paper of August 12 signed " E. W." and desire to assure your readers that when I took up the study of Christian Science I had been wearing glasses for some twelve years.
The original prescription called for glasses for an aggravated case of astigmatism, and this prescription was given by a well-known oculist and the glasses furnished by a first-class optician. Names will be given if desired. The oculist at the same time gave it as his opinion that I would always have to wear glasses, as the defect had existed from my birth.
