The Lectures
First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Howard, Kan., is glad to report through the Sentinel their pleasure in giving to the people of this vicinity an opportunity to hear a lecture on Christian Science by Mr. Edward A. Kimball of Chicago. The Howard Citizen referred to the lecture as follows :— —
The lecture at the Opera House Thursday evening, March 13, by Edward A. Kimball of Chicago, was a very able one. The gentleman is a very pleasant speaker and presented the doctrine of Christian Science in a plain, honest, and able manner. It is safe to say that Mr. Kimball left upon his audience a higher opinion of the doctrine he advocates than they had before hearing him. A large number of people from out of town were present.
Mr. Kimball was introduced by Mr. S. C. Hanna in the following words : —
