I have received much help, comfort, and encouragement from reading the many good testimonials given in our Sentinel, and perhaps my contribution may meet the need of some one who is looking for physical and other benefits through Christian Science.
In the winter of 1899—1900, I was attacked by an old claim of grip, and as I had been investigating Science previous to this attack, I thought it would be a good opportunity to prove what it would do in my case.
I went to the office of a practitioner in a collapsed condition, and after one present treatment I arose from a lounge on which I had been reclining, feeling like a new man. Several weeks after that, the error seemed to assert itself again, but this time it was handled by absent treatment and dispelled.
