Photographs of Mrs. Eddy's Birthplace

We are reliably informed that spurious pictures of our revered Leader's birthplace are in circulation. In at least one instance the photograph of a barn has been sent out as the place of her birth. It is generally known that the only authentic and authorized reproduction of the Baker homestead, as it appeared in Mrs. Eddy's girlkood, is that from an original drawing by Rufus H. Baker, Esq., Concord, N. H., reproduced by the aid of Mrs. Eddy's information. No other pictures of our Leader's birthplace are approved or genuine.

We have recently noted the commendable action by the citizens of Lynn, Mass., in buying and setting apart as a memorial of her, Mrs. Eddy's former residence, in which she finished writing "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."

Through the kindness of Mrs. Eddy, photographs of this estate, as it appeared when she was the owner of the property, are now to be had of Concord's well-known photographer, W. G. C. Kimball. Pictures of the birthplace can be obtained either of Mr. Baker or Mr. Kimball.
