The Lectures

The first lecture given under the auspices of Third Church of Christ, Scientist, of Chicago, in their new church edifice, was delivered by Mr. Edward A. Kimball, C.S.D., September 27,1901.

The fifteen hundred seats in the auditorium were filled and nearly two hundred persons stood throughout the lecture.

The First Reader, Rev. Jesse L. Fonda, introduced the speaker as follows:—
